I followed a link from a conservative Christian blog (still trying to understand them) to a page about Gay Pride with pictures. Apparently more than one conservative site has linked to it, resulting in a number of anti-gay rants by a segment of the Christian population. (Note: yes I do know there are loving, nonjudgmental Christians in the world and some are my friends.) Finally one Christian reminded her fellow believers how Christ indicates they ought to behave towards sinners, even if they hate the sin.

The comments discussion was a fine example of how torn our society is between those who feel it ought to run on conservative Christian beliefs and those who feel society should reflect the diversity of its members.
