What The Hell?

This is all kinds of wrong: The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure by Phillip R Greaves the 2nd.

His product description reads:

This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certian rules for these adults to follow. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps liter sentences should they ever be caught.

Oh. A kinder, gentler way to sexually abuse children.

Nick Mamatas has a great post about the slipper slope of banning such works about criminal activities. Sad but true.

Mamatas then links to a post on The Smoking Gun where the author says he has sold only one title and claims he has never, as an adult, engaged "in sexual acts with children" as TSG called it. OK, then, how do you have the knowledge to write the book? Hmmmm.

One of the commenters there offered this link to a similar-themed book on Amazon: Understanding Loved Boys and Boylovers.

One thing is obvious: the internet has made pedophiles bolder. Now that they are in touch with each other, no pun intended, they think they are some kind of oppressed group. So why not openly publish how-to books?

I'm thoroughly sick now.
