RIP, Tim Russert
Tim Russert collapsed while at work and is dead at age 58. What a tragic loss. I am just stunned. As a political junkie, I respected his coverage as the most unbiased and his interviews as the most persistent in the pursuit of truth. I don't know how they'll find a replacement for his top rated show, Meet The Press, which beat out all other such shows with 4 million viewers.

I saw that this afternoon and sat here and bawled. What a loss...

Did you see where that person left a white board with some flowers? That made me cry harder. The picture was on the NBC Nightly News.

The white board was classic Tim. His Florida Florida Florida white board from 2000 is in the Smithsonian. I was doing some drawing to try to process my feelings and I drew one that said "Heaven Heaven Heaven." Then I imagined him interviewing the politicians who've passed away, such as the Kennedy brothers and Franklin Roosevelt and so on.

that makes me so sad. he was one of the few good ones left.

keith olbermann's show was all dedicated to remembering him. it was the saddest and best hour on tv in a while.

I saw Keith's show and just sat through it in tears.
