Women Who Write Sci Fi and Fantasy
Check out this list of women Sci Fi and Fanstasy writers.
Many of my favorites are listed and some I haven't had a chance to read yet. I must get to a library soon!

Btw, before Skynet or The Matrix there was Colossus. A movie was made from this book as well.

Sarah Ash is a great fantasy writer as well, that I didn't see on that list.

Hope you don't mind me friending you...I'm local and share a lot of the same interests (stumbled on your blog via the "Uppity Women" site). Let me know if it's an issue, and I'll take you off the list, ok? Thanks! - Danae

Always happy to make new friends!

Just fyi--I try to keep my actual location obscure especially on public posts these days--I acquired a stalker along the way. Other than "west coast" being obvious I try not to talk too much about what area I'm in. It helps that I moved away from the city I used to live in when I ran Uppity Women. :)

I'm glad someone is still getting use out of UW. I do intend to go back and tidy it up, along with labyris, at some point. I have material for women living in poverty that I want to add.

One thing Apex Digests likes to do is showcase new women sci-horror writers. We pride ourselves in making new discoveries (men and women, but the women are the rare finds).
