Never thought I'd see the day
CEOs ask for legislation to create mandatory reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. It's pretty bad when corporations care more about global warming than the President of the United States--who still seems to think the jury is out on the subject.

The officials, expected to elaborate on their plan at a news conference later Monday, include the chief executives Alcoa Inc., BP America Inc., DuPont Co., Caterpillar Inc., General Electric Co., and Duke Energy Corp.

In the letter they urged Congress to enact legislation "to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions."
