Welcome, Sun!
I can't even believe it; the sky is blue and the sun is shining. For awhile there I thought we'd turned into Seattle! Not that Seattle isn't beautiful, just that it rains more than I like.

I hear we have a few more days of storms coming then it is supposed to turn dry. So I should be able to walk regularly again. My daughter and I jumped at the chance today, and did our longest route out of sheer joy of being able to be outside. However, my body wasn't so ready for that after a few weeks of recovering from surgery, and so now it's protesting. I had to drag myself the last few blocks home and up the stairs.

WhooHoo! Go sun! That's terrific!!

Before my aunt went home today (she's been in the state visiting all week), we went to Waffle House for breakfast then went up to the park where I do my walks and walked around the track (.86 of a mile), so I got most of my exercise today before noon! It was soooo beautiful this morning, too. 60* when the sun came up, clear blue skies, and while we were walking, all we could hear were the birds. It was terrific.

Of course, they're calling for more severe weather on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Welcome to Springtime in Kentucky.

Sounds like spring in Iowa, which this spring we're having is reminding me of this year. We've even had thunderstorms and tornados!

But these nice days keep us going through the gloom. :)

Iowa city, which just had devastating tornados, is just 90 miles North of my home town.
