Surgery is ON
Finally, ten minutes ago, it was confirmed that surgery is on and scheduled for tomorrow. The cardiologist signed off on it and they finally heard from him. I am off to the hospital for some blood tests and to run a few errands.

I am registering a complaint with the manager of the area where someone dropped the ball and didn't get this test properly scheduled earlier in February like it should have been.

Wow. I can't believe they left you twisting in the wind like that. (Well, actually, I can, given some of the stories I've heard about the medical industry.)

I really hope it goes well tomorrow. I wish you healthy and speedy recovery.

Good luck, sweetie. You'll be in my thoughts.

Thanks, everyone! With so many people from RL and online praying for me and sending me good thoughts and energy, it should be a breeze.

Yes the medical industry is really inefficient so I shouldn't continue to be surprised every time they screw something up. (rolls eyes) I was telling Dave that I wished I had someone I could pay just to deal with all of the phone calls and scheduling involved and organize test results and paperwork for me. Then I realized that could be a great service to offer...but many of the people who would need it would be too broke to pay anything for it. Chronic illness isn't a well paying gig. :)

Hello to no more monthly blood and possibly a solution to my unexplained pelvic cramping, maybe a reduction in migraines, and no more anemia! I have Floradix to build me up after the surgery and then my diet should be adequate for my needs after that. Hooray!

I went by and saw my beautiful grandsons who are building robots with their lego style blocks and generally up to mischief. I feel like I'm in a good frame of mind so I plan a mellow evening, some ritual, and a sleeping pill for bed time.

Wishing you the very best!

Oh thank you! I feel ready. :)

Good luck!
Chris and I are thinking about you and sending good energy your way. You're so prepared for this, mentally, physically and spiritually, that I know you'll have smooth sailing. I know you have many people around to help, but if you need some extra sets of hands (or just some extra company), let us know!

Re: Good luck!
Oh, thanks, I'll be sure to do that.

We need to make time to hang out sometime soon. I really miss you guys. Let's not wait for the cruziots to get their act together for a video night.

Tapati came through surgery o.k.
Hi, it's David (Tapati's husband).

Tapati had her surgery today, and came through it just fine.

Thank you all for sending good thoughts her way!
