Comcast Kicks AT&T's Butt

We must live in an AT&T wonderland b/c they've been our cell phone provider for 6 years now. Everyone I know has nothing but complaints and I've only had one problem. Which was rectified very quickly.

I'm sure they are fine with cell phones. The fuckery begins with U-verse. They told us our Tivos would work with it and if we preferred to use them, we could put their DVR in our closet. Then not only was it not compatible, their DVR lacked some crucial features Tivo has down pat. Plus the HD channels had a flicker to them, especially if something on the screen was bright--a team logo, a white shirt, etc. It was maddening. So we canceled U-verse in two days of use, well within the trial period. Then they were shitty to us and failed to give us back our former phone and internet service. When we disconnected the U-verse cable to put Comcast back we lost their internet and phone altogether. They stood us up for an appointment to re-connect our former cable, leaving us to figure it all out for ourselves in an apartment building filled with other people's cables. They didn't even call to say they weren't coming. But someone did show up--36 hours later, out of the blue. After all the time we wasted and the way they interacted with us...never again.

The call to cancel U-verse took three different people and 45 minutes total, including time on hold.
