Researcher Writes About Weight Discrimination  
--suggests legislation to provide protection against employment discrimination

I think it's ridiculous that weight, height (because studies show that it's a seriously huge issue for men, and I know that I am DEFINITELY thought of differently because of my height of 5'0"), and physical appearance aren't prohibited grounds of discrimination already. AFAIK, it's pretty clear from the studies that people ARE discriminated against on those grounds on a regular basis.

Yes, and I hope we can get more laws passed. I was involved in a local effort years ago to get it passed in the city of Santa Cruz, CA.
