spoken word
So I'm playing around with audio recording software now that I have a decent microphone. I should add a web cam I guess. I recorded my favorite passage by Jalaja Bonheim about Grace (I posted it several days ago). I loaded it into my Multiply account but you have to be a member to listen to it. However, you can import your entire LJ into a Multiply account (I did) and so it's a good back up if you are concerned about such things. So here's the link if you want to check it out:

I'm using my multiply account as a spiritual journal--some of those entries are being cross posted here. I also am able to load Youtube videos in, the photo gallery is easy to use, and in general I'm liking it. It's free, the ads are minimally invasive, the interface is easy to use and learn, and I find I'm really enjoying it, unlike Myspace which I rarely use, or some of the other blog sites. I'm not leaving LJ or anything like that.

It was worth the trouble just to use as a back up to LJ, really.

Audacity is great for voice recording - and it's free.

Yeah, that's what we have. But I'm a neophyte so I'm starting out easy and learning the software as I go.

I hear you - I've only had it two weeks myself. :)
